In Jan 2008, I joined Sun Microsystems, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oracle Corporation in Santa Clara, CA.
I completed my Ph.D. in the Department
of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie
Mellon University, where I was advised by
Professor James C. Hoe. I received the A. G. Jordan award in May, 2008.
Previously, I received an M.S. (2002) and B.S. in Electrical and
Computer Engineering with University Honors (2001), also from Carnegie Mellon University.
My research interests include RAS hardware, microarchitecture,
multiprocessor architecture, performance modeling
and simulation, and anything involving computers that outweigh me.
I grew up in Wayne, PA. I spent just over a decade in
beautiful, inexpensive, sunny
Pittsburgh, PA. I am now residing somewhere in
Silicon Valley, California.
